Our engagement team analyzed responses from the 90-to-1 Campaign, Comp Plan Priorities Survey, and input gathered during public workshops and Summer of Engagement (SOE) events to help inform the creation of the Vision for a Just Pittsburgh.
Along with each vision statement, we’ve highlighted data on what the community ranked as the top urgent transitions (key issues) and imperatives (necessary actions) that the Comp Plan must address. We’ve also summarized the key themes from the tough choices discussions, which explored the complex decisions the city will face in the future. Additionally, insights from the 90-to-1 campaign about what Pittsburghers dream for the city were incorporated into the vision statements. The result is a shared vision that captures our hopes, tackles our toughest choices, and guides Pittsburgh towards a more equitable, resilient, and optimistic future.
